Details vary but it always involves my teeeth falling out as a result of chewing gum. I can't seem to get the gum out of my mouth and when I start to pull it out, my teeth painlessly come out as well.<BR/><BR/>For some reason, I thought to mention this to my dentist a few months back. He reassured me that this is a very, VERY common dream. Apparently our teeth shift as we sleep and this might very well account for such dreams. In my experience, once you recognize that you are dreaming, it is a lot like keeping your balance on a skateboard. If you can go with the flow and keep your balance, it can be a wild ride. If you try too hard, you will lose it. With some experience, you might be able to control certain elements. But for me, control is like holding a garden hose about 3 feet from nozzle! There is only so much you can influence.
